School Visit: Siem Reap, Cambodia
What better way to celebrate World Book Day than at the International School in Siem Reap, where the teachers and students spent their afternoon playing literary quizzes and performed silent plays based on Grimm fairytales?
Thank you, Claudine van Diemen, and teachers & students of ISSR, for inviting us to your special place. We loved meeting you all and hope our presence has somehow deepened your love for books from around the world.

A hundred students age 11-18, all speaking English. Erin McGuire’s beautiful illustrations always make an appearance during our presentations. As in Hogwarts, the ISSR has four houses. Named after four Khmer temples. Motivational texts for World Book Day. The wall of the outside auditorium is for all sorts of artwork from the students.
