Short Story Today is a weekly short story podcast hosted by Jon DiSavino. Each episode begins with an in-depth interview with a short story writer followed by the host reading work from the guest author—a professional audiobook production. Jon DiSavino is an actor and stage director.

I had the pleasure of talking to him in September, and my episode aired the next month. I was in Egypt at the time (yes, I know, I should update my travel blog, too) and didn’t get around to posting this.

We spoke about my nomadic and minimalist existence, how my flash piece Woman of the Year came to be, the challenges of writing about sex, and many other things.

After reading multiple stories of mine, Jon chose The Men on the Fence for his podcast. He did a great job bringing it to life and I’m grateful!
